My husband and son will be participating in a Wrestling Camp on a 3 day weekend in June @ Iowa. My 14 year old and I will be tagging along. Any suggestions on how we can spend the 3 days in the area while they are at the camp? THANKS!
things to do in/around Iowa CityHi, I just got back from a trip to Iowa city. They have a great mall (very large) that has an indoor ice skating rink (6 dollars for open skate including skate rental). The mall also has an arcade and a movie theater. There is a nice Tanger outlet mall about 15 or 20 min. west of iowa city. Amana Colonies is only about 10-20 min away also. This is a set of several small german heritage villages. There is lots to see, cute shops amazing restaurants, bakeries, meat shops and small wineries.
