I may be driving to Waverly from WI in 12 days to see a good friend who is there visiting family. I%26#39;m looking for lodging for a night or two. The motels in town don%26#39;t look too great, but the Black Hawk Hotel in Cedar Falls looks pretty nice. Any suggestions on area choices within a 20 minute drive or so will be appreciated.

I haven%26#39;t stayed in the Black Hawk Hotel, but it definitely will have more charm than the chains and may be a surer bet than an unknown local place. It has a good reputation. It%26#39;s also located in a nice downtown area with some interesting stores and decent restaurants. Given what you%26#39;re looking for, it%26#39;s probably your best option.
