Hotels for Kids for an Adventureland Trip

Any recommendations for a hotel that would appeal to kids (7 and 4) if we take a trip to Adventureland?

My kids like to swim and I had thought Adventureland Inn would be a nice place to stay but the reviews have been mixed.

Many area hotels have pools, but two family oriented hotels that you may want to consider are:

1. Stony Creek Inn off 86th St. in Johnston.

2. Comfort Suites at the Hickman Rd. exit off I-80/I-35, next door to the Living History Farms.
