We are going to be in Iowa this weekend and wondered if it would be worth it to go to Pella. I know that the festival is the following weekend, but I am assuming that tulips would be blooming this weekend also. What other things would there be to do, and where would be good places to eat.

This weekend is actually a better weekend since you won%26#39;t have to fight the crowds. The tulips have started to bloom and with the warmth on the next couple days should be looking good this weekend.
You have to have a dutch pastry called a dutch letter. It is marzipan wrapped in a flaky dough.
