My husband and son are going on a golfing father/son trip with a group of fathers/sons in a few weeks in Okoboji. The boys are twelve. Ideas for night time activities or restaurants? Bowling, movies, etc.?

Depending on when the group will be there as it opens in mid-May, there%26#39;s an amusement complex at Arnold%26#39;s Park (see http://www.arnoldspark.com). There also is a movie theater and golf in the area. This site may also provide some ideas: http://www.okoboji-ia.com/arts.htm.

Arnolds Park Amusement park has rides, mini-golf, and go carts and many times family style entertainment on the evenings of weekends. The Ranch would be fun. They have go carts, great mini golf course, a few rides, games, etc. There is also an indoor waterpark. Most things are on Hwy 71 through the lakes area. My favorite place to eat in the area is at Prime Rib which is in Spencer, about 20 minutes away, but it%26#39;s a more expensive place. Remington%26#39;s in Spirit Lake is very good too. Tweeters is also in the lakes and would be a good place to eat. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Hope they have a good time!
