Are there any events going on this weekend, Memorial Day weekend, in the Des Moines area? I see the Cubs are in town, and there is a 5k run...but are there any other family-friendly activities?

Living History Farms has a couple of events over the weekend - Family Heritage Days May 24-25 and Decoration Day on May 26.
There%26#39;s a Farmers Market in downtown Des Moines on Saturday morning, May 24.
The Blank Park Zoo will be opening a new traveling exhibition - Rosie the Elephant and her 18-month-old baby JP on Saturday, May 24. (They will be at the zoo through July 6.)
