What is there to do?

My husband and I are thinking about going to Okoboji for a weekend this summer to celebrate our 1st anniversary. We don%26#39;t have a boat and we don%26#39;t camp. We are in our mid 20s, no kids...so we are just wondering what there is do for non-boaters and non-campers. I%26#39;m sure we will golf a round down there, but don%26#39;t want to spend the whole weekend golfing. I used to go to Boji Bay as a kid a lot but I heard that closed up. Let me know if you have any ideas!

What is there to do?

There are so many things to do at Okoboji(in addition to golfing) that you%26#39;ll need more than just a weekend! Besides enjoying the beaches at the only blue water lake in the US, there are: wonderful shopping, theater(Okoboji Summer Theater) a renowned art center, museums, Arnolds Park Amusement Park(boosting the oldest wooden roller coast west of the Mississippi), an indoor water park at Bridges Bay, live concerts, fantastic restaurants and numerous bars.

Even though you don%26#39;t have a boat doesn%26#39;t mean you can%26#39;t get on the water! Take a ride around West Lake on the Queen(at the amusement park), go on the Glass-Bottom Boat out of Okoboji Boat Works, rent jet skis, go parasailing. Stop in to visit the Maritime Museum(at the Park) to learn about the rich area history and of the Iowa Navy!

Boji Bay is long gone.

Go and experience the Magic of Okoboji!
