What are some fun shops and lunch restaurants in East Village?

Noodle Zoo has some great, unusual sandwiches, wraps, soups and pasta dishes and is a good option for lunch. Barratta%26#39;s in the Historical Society is another good lunch spot.
My favorite store down there is From Our Hands, which has art and home decor is always a fun stop. It%26#39;s similar to Iowa Artisans Gallery in Iowa City, if you%26#39;ve ever been there. The Historical Society also has a gift shop with some interesting things.
