Greyhound stops between Iowa City and Chicago

I%26#39;m shooting an independent film and need to find a rural greyhound station, preferably a gas station on a two-lane highway that doubles as a bus station. Can anyone recommend one that is located between Iowa City and Chicago? It would also help to know the stops directly before and after the recommended stop, as I would ride the bus for exactly one stop in either direction. Thanks for any input.

The stops I find on the Greyhound website are:

WALCOTT JCT, IA

DAVENPORT, IA

MOLINE, IL

DE KALB, IL

AURORA, IL

The stop in Davenport is downtown at:

DAVENPORT BURLINGTON STA

304 W RIVER DR

Davenport, IA 52801

This is in downtown Davenport, probably the newer Ground Transit Center, not the two lane highway you are hoping for. It is a block from the Mississippi, though.

The Moline, IL station is similarly downtown, not as close to the river, but a little more attractive buildings.

I cannot find anything about the Walcott stop. It is possible it is at the ';World%26#39;s Largest Truckstop'; just off the I-80 exit. http://www.iowa80truckstop.com/

It is also not the two lane highway that you are looking for, but would have potential for an independent movie location.

Thanks for the descriptions. Do you know anything about the Ottawa, IL stop?

Sorry, I don%26#39;t know about Ottawa. It looks like the route is just I-80 to I-88. Is Greyhound any help at 1-800-231-2222?

Ottawa is more country area and would be similar to a small town stop but can%26#39;t guarantee a two lane road or gas station stop.
