Looking for nice accommodation in NE Iowa in May

Hi there.

We%26#39;re looking for some really nice accommodation in NE Iowa in May. Wanted to stay at the Winneshiek Hotel in Decorah but they%26#39;re fully booked.

An excellent B%26amp;B would be great or a downtown hotel. No chains preferably. Any ideas?

For a unique experience try the Claytonian at Clayton, Ia. Very small town right on the Mississippi river. The only noise is the occassional train that runs about 100%26#39; in front of the Inn. We have stayed there in the summer, fall, and once spent New Year%26#39;s Eve with the locals.
